We
are looking for a highly experienced medical professional, preferably
with occupational medical experience with extensive Managerial skills.
The Medical Services Manager is responsible to Manage (1) Industrial
Clinic at the Ras Laffan plant site that caters for nearly 3000
employees and contractors, (2) the Primary Health Centre including
Dental Services that provides medical services to the community
residents (employees and family members living in the Al-Khor community
with an estimated population of approximately 12-15,000 and (3) a
medical centre at the HQ in Doha (approximately 700 employees). The
Medical Department organization has 58 medical staff (20 Senior Medical
Professionals, and 38 Nursing and Nursing assistants). Those 20 Senior
Medical Professionals we have are all with 10-15 years of
Industrial/Occupational experience. The Medical Services Manager is
closely working with the Management Leadership and oversee the quality
medical services provided in all 3 locations.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Medical Senior Consultant level qualifications (Higher Medical
Doctorate), with qualifications and experience in: Occupational Health
Medicine; Public Health; Obstetrics & Gynaecology; Paediatrics;
Accident and Emergency; and Primary
Health/Medical Care.

Registration, membership and licences with Royal Medical College (or
equivalent), Qatar Health Ministry and appropriate international
professional bodies.
- Significant experience in managing a complex
medical facility (requiring business acumen and cost control), with
exposure to a multi-cultural, multinational environment.
- Masters in Business Administration would be desirable, as would at least 20 publications in a peer reviewed medical journal.

Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills required to
deal with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
