Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Doctors Without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters to populations in danger in more than 70 countries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work as ER doctor under the supervision of ER expat doctor and expat Medical Focal Point.
- Provide direct supervision to ER doctors on technical and managerial aspects.
- Flexibility to fulfil any of the posts in ER: triage, cases management and consultation and patient management,
- Ensure best medical care available for all patients.
- Ensure good communications amongst doctors, ER staffs, patients and patient family.
- Provide continuous intensive care for critical patients from ER to ICU
- Maintain good communication and consultation system between ER, ICU and IPD doctors
- Follows the hygiene standards and infection control in ER
- Collaborates with nurse supervisor to insure improved quality service in ER
- Ensure good documentation of the patient clinical findings, vital signs monitoring and treatments.
- Responsible for diligent handling of the monitoring devices and equipments in ER.

- Good interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
- Very organized person able to plan his/her work in advance, autonomous and rigorous;
- Dynamic, flexible, adaptable and autonomous

- Motivated to work within a challenging context
- Experience in management of emergency and critical patient care
- Have computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Fluent in English, Pashto and Dari
- Have a valid tazkira

Qualifications
- Medical doctor diploma required, registered with the afghan authority- Experience in management of emergency and critical patient care
- Have computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Fluent in English, Pashto and Dari
- Have a valid tazkira
